NORTH, SOUTH, ONSITE, OFFSITE

I took the obligatory 'fashion-week-invitations-strewn-on-the-hotel-bed' shot last week. It really was a gruelling schedule and we traipsed around the city like true fashion troopers thanks to our generously sponsored Audi cars and driver.

Apart from the big guns Zambesi, Trelise Cooper, Stolen Girlfriend's Club and Twenty-Seven Names, the schedule was packed with fresh new talent and street wear labels many of whom touted a prepubescent hot-goth look. Black Luxe below really went to town with the theme, sending out a crafty coven of gothic witches complete with crowns styled from twigs which got caught in the models hair as they changed looks throughout the show (check it out below).

Off-site shows in backstreet locations proved popular by far the most popular of the week being Stolen Girlfriends Club which packed gleeful punters in an inner-city warehouse like sardines.

Labels wanting to stand out opted for photographic and vignette presentations of their Autumn/Winter 2012 collections, two of the best being Twenty-Seven Names and Never Black the latter of which also trotted out a gaggle of models.
